At our Center we use cutting-edge tools to plan your chlid’s treatment with the highest accuracy. We’ll capture high-quality photos, intraoral scans and face scans, use 2D X-rays and establish a thorough clinical TMJ diagnosis. These create a clear view of your chlid’s needs — helping us plan a treatment — customized just for her/him.

In this session, we’ll walk you through a multiphase treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique needs. We’ll outline the key stages, including timelines and what to expect at each step. This conversation is all about ensuring you understand how the process will support your child’s smile and occlusion as they grow.

Phase I focuses on early intervention, starting between ages 6 and 10 and typically using removable functional appliances. In certain cases, we may use partial fixed appliances. These tools gently guide jaw growth and tooth alignment, setting the strong foundation and making future treatment smoother and more successful.

During Phase I, we’ll schedule regular checkups, where we adjust appliances, monitor progress and ensure your child’s comfort. We’ll also provide tips to help them adapt, like maintaining oral hygiene or adjusting to the appliance. After Phase I, we conduct a thorough reevaluation with updated records. We assess the results of Phase I and prepare for Phase II. We also discuss the new plan with you to ensure you’re fully informed about your child’s treatment.

Phase II focuses on comprehensive alignment — perfecting the smile and creating a stable occlusion. We’ll use tailored tools suited to your child’s needs — such as braces or aligners and accessory elements.
